helllooo!!!

This week has been full of coughing and sneezing! being sick really sucks out here! People call it the Indiana Ick. its really annoying. And I dont think I have heard "bless you" so much in my life!
This week was pretty slow cause everyone getting ready for thanksgiving so none of the members were able to come out with us to see our investigators!
But. we did find a new investigator named Barb. Barb is super sweet and she was like, well yeah I would get baptized! haha! so I am pretty excited to teach her! and she has 3 daughters so I am excited to meet them also!
Thanksgiving is this week! super exciting:) we are going to a members home and I have heard she makes the best food so Sister Jones is SET.
Everyone pull out your phones or a piece of paper and start making a list of what you are thankful for! We have so much to be thankful for. so start makin a list:)

Love you all and pray that my sneezing goes away!

<3

This week I have been thinking about love and charity. loving everyone and loving people that are hard to love and not judging. Having the love of Christ and not thinking about yourself all the time and just being selfless. go serve someone!! go tell someone you love them just because you do.Dont take people for granted because you never know when they are gonna be gone. Stop getting yourself wrapped up in all this worldly stuff and focus on what really matters. The people you love. Because in the end Christ wants all of us to love eachother. We are all his children! Smile at someone just cause! you have no idea what people are going through:) Befriend someone who needs a friend because you were probably put in their life for a reason. Reach out to someone that needs some love because thats what christ would do and he wants ALL of his children to feel loved. The love of Christ is infinite and sometimes we might feel alone but we are never ever alone. If we just pray and draw closer to him there will be so many blessing and changes we cant even imagine. THe song Abide with me Tis eventide comes to mind and I want all of you to go listen to it! REALLY listen to it. I hope you all have a great week and I love you all!

great week in the OCM!

well this week was good! President Porter promised us that if we went through our area books and looked for former investigators and stuff then we would find someone to baptize! So we have been working super duper hard to find new investigators! And we have! There was a guy that met with the missionaries like a year ago and went to church once so we went and saw him for like 20 minutes and we asked him if he knew the BOM was true and he said yes.. so we were super pumped then we asked him if he would be baptized and he said YES?!!! what!! so crazy! so we have another lesson with him tonight keep him and us in your prayers! I really hope that he felt the spirit and knows this is the right thing to do. But his wife didnt seem to happy about it unfortunetly.... but thats okay Heavenly father will find a way!! I have seen gods grace in so many different ways and my realtionship with him is getting better and better! I love it here!

First Week out of the MTC!

I am in Aurora INDIANA! Havent heard of it? Neither did I!! If any of you have seen Smallville its exactly like that! Its so pretty here though. a really small town but we live right by the river so its awesome! Me and my companion Sister Chavez got doubled in so we got to figure out everything on our own! its been a pretty busy week getting to know all the members and all that fun stuff. But GUESS WHAT we found 3 new investigators and I am so excited! also Theres a family in the ward and they all got baptized 2 months ago and theres last daughter is getting baptized this saturday so we have been able to help her get through one of the hardest weeks ever! (cause satan is mean and likes to make things harder for us) but I ahve definetly seen gods hand in my life everyday! its so amazing how miracles can happen when we dont even expect it. Theres a talk by Elder Cook on Faith and it is so amazing. READ IT! it has helped me get through the hard first week. Lean on heavenly father with all you have and I promise that he will help and guide you. his grace is infinite and that is an aboslute amazing thing to think about. well.
